Whether agro forestry practices can minimize usage of fertilizers?

Yes. One of the objective of agroforestry practices is to minimize the need for dependencies for inputs as the output of one of the components is always used as input for other component.  Example: animal rearing in agroforestry helps in generating FYM, Compost etc, which goes in as input for agricultural crops minimizing use of fertilisers.
